Vital C is Vitamin C in Sodium Ascorbate form. It is NON-ACIDIC (alkaline)
Vital C has a pH range of 7.5 to 7.8. It can be taken as much as preferred without the negative effects of highly acidic Vitamin C tablets such as gastric irritation, bloating, and intestinal irritation.
Vital C is safe and effective, classified as an over-the-counter product not requiring prescription.

pH Factor and Disease
POTENTIALITY to HYDROGEN is the measurement of the equilibrium of
acid and base in the body. A higher pH reading in a fluid indicates
that the fluid is more alkaline and oxygen-laden. A lower pH reading
indicates the fluid is more acidic or deprived of oxygen. The pH range
is from 0 to 14, with 7.0 being neutral. Readings above 7.0 indicate
alkalinity, readings below 7.0 are considered acidic. Humans are born
with body fluids in a slightly alkaline state or high pH. And then,
from that state our tissues and fluids absorb food, beverages,
medicine, pollutants and experience stress daily, turning from alkaline
to acidic. As soon as the pH level of a body’s fluids and tissues falls
to a 6.9 or lower, the body starts to become prone to viral infections
like colds, cough and flu. The more acidic the body becomes, the higher
the uric acid and other toxins in it, the more susceptible to chronic
disease and illness it becomes. For instance, cancer cells thrive
inside the body at a pH level of 5.5. It is imperative that we strive
for higher pH levels and alkalinity to prevent cancer and disease.
Vitamin C Vs. Standard Acidic Vitamin C
Vital C
- Alkaline-based
- PH range of 7.5 to 7.8
- Natural Vitamin C
- Intake of as much as 10,000-20,000 mg. a day is safe and effective. The higher the dosage, the better
- In crystallized powder form to preserve effectivity and purity
- Dissolves quickly and absorbed by the body 5 to 8 times faster than standard Vitamin C tablets
- May be taken before or after meals, non-acidic, stomach-friendly
- Body’s absorption is up to 95%, only 5% is flushed out
- Safe for people with ulcer and diabetes
Standard Acidic Vitamin C
- Acid-based pH range of 2.5 to 3
- Standard Vitamin C maximum dosage is only 1,000 mg. a day.
- More than that is too acidic for the body to tolerate
- Usually in tablet form with starch ingredient. Thus, not 100% pure and natural
- Dissolves slowly
- Must be taken after meals to avoid hyperacidity
- Body’s absorption is only 15-25%, more than 75% is flushed out
- Not advisable for persons with ulcer and diabetes (occasionally)

Vitamin C to Overall Wellness
Vitamin C is water soluble and a valuable
anti-oxidant. Oxidation in our body causes a breakdown in our bodies’
cellular makeup and Vitamin C is essential to prevent against
oxidation’s damaging effects. It is required for
300 metabolic functions in our body.
Vitamin C is an efficient immunity booster and
helps build collagen, the stabilizing tissue in our bones, epidermis
and muscles. Anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C are our best defenses
against a long list of diseases and illnesses.
Our world is very different from the world in which our parents were
born into. The air we breathe in is more polluted, the ozone layer that
protects us from harmful ultraviolet rays is thinning, and more
chlorine is added to our drinking water. We are now more exposed to
cell-damaging free radicals.
More than ever, Vitamin C supplements in our diet are a necessity
since our bodies are unable to produce Vitamin C unlike plants. Fresh
fruits and vegetables are sources of Vitamin C, yet our bodies’ Vitamin
C requirements clearly exceed the amount we normally obtain from these.
Therefore, Vitamin C in our diet must be supplemented by other
sources. For those with illnesses such as cancer, the non-acidic form
of Vitamin C is most effective since non-acidic Vitamin C enters the
body four times faster than the other forms and stays in the tissues
longer.
